Dr. Joni MacNeill was born in a small town in Wyoming, surrounded by extended family.  At age 10 her family moved to the Seattle area, but she considers herself a small town girl at heart.  She received her B.S. in Biology from the University of Washington, then completed her dental degree in 2005 at the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco.  She then returned to the Seattle area to be closer to family.  There she was able to practice dentistry for 10 years with her mentor, who encouraged her to complete a series of comprehensive continuing education courses at the distinguished Kois Center for Advanced Dental Studies, which she graduated from in 2011.  While in Seattle she was reacquainted with her childhood friend, Matt, whom she soon married. They now have two beautiful, energetic and smart young girls named Elise (7) and Mya (5).

The MacNeills love the beauty and recreational opportunities that North Idaho has to offer, but it was the chance to raise their girls in such an amazing community that called them to Sandpoint.  The patients and friends they have met have been incredibly welcoming.  The way that people talk with such love of their town makes them grateful to call Sandpoint their home as well.

Dr. MacNeill feels that the most enjoyable aspect of her job is getting to know her patients and their families so well over the years she sees them.  She takes time to listen to each person so she can understand their oral health goals and be better able to help them achieve those goals.  She and her staff believe in prevention, gentle dentistry and keeping you on the path of health and a beautiful smile.

I was born and raised in Bonners Ferry and moved to Sandpoint this last year.  I have worked

in the dental field for a few years now and really enjoy it.  Every day is a new experience.

In my spare time I like to spend time with my husband, our daughter and two dogs.

Our summers are spend hanging out on the lake and we spend our winters

snowboarding on the mountain.

Cathy Schuller- Dental Assistant

I grew up in Snoqualmie, Washington and was the youngest of four children.  My parents

encouraged all of us to learn a skill and find careers we would enjoy.  In 1983 I graduated

from Puget Sound Institute of Technology with a degree in dental assisting.

I moved to Sandpoint with my two young sons, Nick and Riley, in 1997.  I worked for

Ron Forsberg, DDS until his retirement in 2015.  Today, my son Nick serves as a medic

in the U.S. Army, Riley is a journalism student and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work

at MacNeill Family Dental.  I am able to utilize the dental skills I have acquired throughout

the past 30+ years of my career as well as continue to learn new procedures, products and

techniques.

I adore "my little town" of Sandpoint for its charm, outdoor activities and friendliness of the community.

I have always been active- running, biking and hiking.  Most recently I climbed the second highest peak

in Washington, Mt. Adams.

In my down time, I enjoy anything artistic or creative and spending time in the great outdoors with

my ever faithful, high energy Boxer dog "Magnificent Max."

Natalie was born and raised in Maple Valley, WA.  In 2014 she and her husband were fortunate enough to relocate to Sandpoint.  She enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and "kids" who consist of 2 dogs, 3 horses and a few chickens.  Horseback riding, camping and hiking keep her busy in the summer and snowmobiling takes up all her spare time in the winter.

We are so happy to have added her to our team earlier this year.  She brings over 9 years of office administration experience and is the smiling face who greets you when you step into our office.

I was lucky to grow up here in Sandpoint, Idaho.  I feel even more lucky to have been able to come back and raise my girls in this beautiful place.  Having a career in Dental Hygiene helped make this possible.

I have two very beautiful girls named Bailey (19) and Danika (17).  As a family we love to hike, boat, snow ski, swim, ride ATV's and camp.  I also enjoy mountain biking, fly fishing and anything at or on the lake.  Travel is a passion of mine and I hope to do much more in the future.  I look forward every year to the Festival, Arts and Crafts Fair, Schweitzer Wine Fest and Fall Fest.

I have worked as a hygienist for 23 years, 22 have been here in Sandpoint.  I graduated from Idaho State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene.  I worked my first year in Bozeman, Montana.  Although it was great there, I am thankful to be back home and doing what I love.
